In line with their growth and commitment to excellence, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Case Manager to join their team.

Functions:

·        To ensure that the Client’s Oncology disease management program limits the Scheme’s risk and ensure quality care for its members.

·        Reviewing and approving requests for specific cancer treatments and services to ensure they are medically necessary and within the scope of the patient’s medical scheme benefits.

·        Ensuring all case management activities are documented accurately and adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.

·        Identifying and addressing potential risks associated with cancer treatment, such as medication errors, infections, or treatment delays.

·        Serving as a point of contact between the patient, their family, the medical scheme, and healthcare providers, facilitating clear and efficient communication.

 

Skills:

·        Medical Aid Administration systems such as Medware, Careware, ChroniLine

·        Exceptional Language skills

·        Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)

 

Requirements:

·        Grade 12

·        Diploma in Nursing

·        Active SANC Membership

·        Minimum 5 years clinical experience

·        Minimum 2-year experience in Oncology disease management

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
