Hospital Manager – Ladysmith

Together with our client, we are recruiting for a Hospital Manager in Ladysmith.  The Candidate must hold a relevant tertiary qualification in business management and have 3 years of experience in a senior management role (Healthcare).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the facilities meet the DOH requirements at all times as well as adherence to clinical, ethical, and health and safety standards
• Manage the entire hospital team, leading by example
• Manage the patient experience, patient safety and strive to provide excellent patient experience at all times
• Manage and mitigate hospital risks
• Leadership influence, integrity, and credibility
• Excellent conflict and performance management skills
• Excellent HR leadership, sound knowledge of HR practices and protocols
• Ensure HR best practices including an effective line manager delivery model
• Exceptional business growth and development by cost-effective management of productivity
• Build and manage excellent relationships with stakeholders, medical professionals to ensure adequate referral rate

Job requirements

• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business management
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior management role at a Healthcare Facility
• Management in a private healthcare environment will be advantageous
• Computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
